A Thought Adjuster Speaks - # 209

Dear one, it is vital that you begin to realize how important Stillness
is. It is in the Stillness where your true needs are known and answered.
Your true soul-needs and hunger are hidden away from even the nearest
and dearest to you. They cannot even begin to know your needs, since
they do not know theirs.
And usually, this is the proverbial tip of the iceberg. Truly, can you
name one hidden need of your own? If so, then you may be sure that someone
else has the same unrealized needs and longings.
Underneath all the veneer and clamor, glitter, shine, and the business
of the outward world, exist the true soul-needs, hidden and out of sight.
And by neglecting to come into the Stillness at least once daily, humankind
forgets to replenish their hidden resources.
The soul is like unto a gold mine, were golden nuggets lie undisturbed
and well out of sight, and so, people die never having developed that
richness of soul through faith and trust in the All That Is.
The Creator placed that urge-link in the human soul with the eternal
hope that humankind would answer the call of the Spirit within, and
to through their free will establish that vital link by way of prayer
and meditation.
I know that we have discussed this before, but I will mention time and
again that humanity is in co-partnership with God; that they are not
a random accident in a ‘blind cosmos’, but active participants
in achieving their own destiny.
Which is to journey back to the Giver of all good things, bringing with
them all the developed gifts the Creator has bestowed upon them, but
which remain hidden in the soul, waiting to be discovered via the established
vital link of faith and trust.
