A Lesson on Desire.

This time, let us spend a few moments on the concept of desire. Desire can mean different things to different people. We can keep desire ‘low to the ground’ -- in the mundane and mediocre areas -- or we can aim a bit higher in the more out-of-the-ordinary, everyday desire, and take a longer and broader view of things. However, I long to lift desire to the highest point possible; the secret desire of the soul to radiate the love of God to each and everyone you meet or think about. This is a desire that needs to be fanned into a steady flame, so it can reach the heart, and then the thinking mind, to lodge in the human brain to be put into practice in the consciousness of the people of this planet. This can only happen through one person at a time.

With most people, this desire does not take conscious form, as it is a steady ‘ripening’ of the soul; a greater soul-consciousness, which will bring this about. All humans are responsible for their personal soul growth. There is no other way than to work on this development for your self, through right thinking and right actions. Every religion on the planet -- and there is a great variety here -- embraces the golden rule in some form or other, to do unto others, as you, yourself, would like to be treated. So do no harm to anyone, including any living thing, in and on the earth, as she, too, is a living breathing being, your mortal home, from whose dust you sprang, and in whom you have your origin.

I would now lead you deeper into that secret desire of your heart, to show you that the seed for you to become a radiant being is also enclosed in that seed-soul. The seed of divinity is lodged there. By each day growing a little more conscious of the potentials inherent in you, and inherent in each other, you show forth a little more radiance of the divine being you will ultimately become when you put your heart and soul into becoming perfect. This is the ultimate purpose of having been given life. With this great gift also comes the free will for you to choose how you will get to that ultimate destination, which is waiting for every sincere and growing soul, never mind how immature you still are at the dissolution of your material form, as it is the intent of the soul that lifts you mortals heaven-ward.

This road is an eternal adventure of learning, of hurdles to be overcome, and of decisions and more decisions to be made. You really do not have to worry about this journey, because much celestial help will be available to you, if you learn the craft of listening. Most of all, take the time to listen, so you can hone that skill. You know by now, or ought to know as it has been mentioned time and time again, that each of you has a Fragment of the living God lodged within you, and it is totally up to you to make the connection. Rest assured that I am waiting for each mortal child to come to Me, never mind the mortal age, because to Me you are all My children. What I am endeavoring to explain is; that I am always waiting for you to come to Me. All you have to do is to turn up for your daily practice of listening to, over time, learn to discern My Still Voice more clearly, and then your desire will grow to radiate God’s Love in blessing others.
