A First Communication.

Europe, December 6, 2007.
Group Teacher Syrus (pronounced Sée-rohs).

Contributing Receiver.

Syrus: "Hello to you! I am your teacher. I am very happy that I am among you tonight. My name is Syrus, and whenever you want to, you may speak with me. Of course, each of you can do that on your own as well. Today, being the first time we communicate, I would like to say some things in general.

"You are aware that you are here on earth not by chance. All of you exist for a reason, a purpose. The ultimate purpose of all beings is perfection and reunion with the Father. However, each of you on this material world has his or her own purpose, goal, you can name it as you like. This is something that each of you finds, discovers. One would say that it doesn't pre-exist to your own existence, but is determined by the peculiarities, the gifts, and the unique nature of every human being. It is in this context that we can say that each human has his or her own purpose.

"Often people wonder why they are here; what is the reason for their existence on earth. The answer to this can be found by living life itself, examining, studying, searching and discovering new things, ideas, people and most importantly; your own self.

"You are such manifold and complex beings that your life on earth is not enough to discover what you really are. Nevertheless, in the amount of time each one has at his or her disposal, you can discover things, test, reject and incline to that which you really want to do. Therefore, when we talk about someone's purpose, we don't have to deal with something magical or God-given.

"Do not worry and do not feel disoriented. As I said before, the important thing is to live, allow yourselves to be free to life's experiences and through this practice see and sense what it is that you really want to do while you are here. I am Syrus. Are there any questions?"

Receiver: "I find it hard communicating with you. How could I improve my communication with you?"

Syrus: "I notice that you do not feel confident. I would say that this is the reason that blocks you from contacting us. Often people make things seem harder than they really are. Don't feel that you have to do something particular, like following a certain procedure in order to communicate. Actually, it's very simple. Relax and be open. Feel as if you are telephoning a dear friend of yours, and you are just waiting till he picks up the phone.

"As you have noticed, sometimes it takes some time before they pick it up - they are in the middle of a task, or something else -- while at other times they pick it up sooner. It's the same in this case - sometimes the communication is almost instantaneous, sometimes it takes a bit longer.

"It's expected in the beginning for there to be some delays. I wouldn't like to say difficulties, because that isn't the case. It's the same with a child that wants to use the telephone, but doesn't know the number it wants to dial, or how the device works, and so it finds it a bit difficult. Again, however, I repeat that it hasn't got anything to do with any kind of difficulty. It just needs patience and persistence. I am at your disposal whenever you would like to call me. Any other question?"

Student: "Yes, I would like to ask a question in behalf of the receiver. He doesn't feel confident with the issue of him going to Germany. He fears he'll fail (at what he intends to achieve there)."

Syrus: "Yes, I understand the lack of confidence he feels, but I consider this to be because of the gravity that he attaches to it. Again, there is no need to worry. Generally, I'd say that worrying is a feeling, an attitude that you would do well to avoid for whatever reason that you 'spend yourselves' on it. You spend your creative energy giving less 'space' than what they really deserve to things that actually have importance.

"Try to retain a calm attitude in whatever you are doing, or plan to do in your everyday life, your relationships, everything. So, I'd say that it would be good for the receiver to focus on the materialization of his goal, instead of wondering whether he will manage to make this goal a reality or not. In the first case we have to do with something concrete, something that can yield benefits, something creative, while in the second case we have to do with something completely hypothetical that has no real substance. Would you like to ask a last question?"

Receiver: "No, thank you,"

Syrus: "I would like to wish you a good night, and leave this receiver for today to rest. I believe it was enough for a first time. Goodnight! I am Syrus."
