Pride and Forgiveness.

I Am: “Oh, how nice and wonderful it would be if we could all just get along! Yes, truly wonderful it would be! Ah, but, there are lessons still to be learned.

“I want you to know that in your heart lies the facility to make room for this path to unfold. Each and everyday may your soul do the bidding for the unfortunate ones that cannot yet see their way through pride, and also are not yet able to come to that extraordinary place of forgiveness.

“And when you are angry and hurt, try to imagine in your heart of hearts what forgiveness is really like. It may be difficult at first, but stay with the program, until you feel the tender overflow, the pain and the joy, of letting go. And when I say letting go, I mean in the sense that you really let that loved one ‘off the hook’.

“To let one ‘off the hook’, is to allow them to see their own way through, to stand upon their own two feet, without the extra clutter of ‘pride versus pride’. This can be painful for those who are innocent in their endeavors towards love; yet it is the way of Love. Patience and kindness, and having enough faith to wait it out, will eventually reveal that steady light of Love once again.

“In this way, even the multitudes of engaging darkness that pound against the walls of a broken heart -- which are the cause and effect of mankind’s belief in separateness -- can be ever so gently and absolutely melted away. The feeling, liken to an invitation, so yearning, so warm, and yes, so sweet, that the very dear path of life, togetherness, can be taken up once again!

“It is time to undergo the changes that make for a brighter day! Keep your slates clean and let the higher authority of a Love Supreme direct you at every given turn.”
