Subject: “The Endeavor of Spiritual Progress.”

Thought Adjuster: “In all human endeavors, it is occasionally wise to pause for a moment to consider how we are working toward our goals, and how our daily activities bring us closer to the achievement we aim for. In this way, we can take corrective measures if necessary and prioritize the activities we consider most important for the fulfillment of our objectives.

The endeavor of spiritual progress is no different in this regard. From time to time, you must pause along the way to judge whether you are moving in the right direction. The most immediate goal for human beings is the attainment of fusion with their Thought Adjuster, which announces to the rest of creation that this human being has made the sublime and final decision to live the will of the Father and strive for the attainment of perfection—the eternal goal.

To achieve fusion, a human must reach a higher understanding of the Father’s will and establish an effective working relationship with God through the Adjuster. Likewise, this human must have a deeper understanding of the Supreme Being, which conveys the meaning of their responsibility as a universal citizen. These, broadly speaking, are the attributes of a soul prepared for fusion.

Consider for a moment how the activities you carry out in your daily life are bringing you closer to the goal of fusion with the Spirit. How many of the things you invest your time and resources in each day are directed toward the goal of becoming better and better? Take an inventory of your activities, your desires, and the needs you try to fulfill, and honestly examine the eternal value of each of these things. If you find that most of your activities are focused on material matters and most of the achievements you dream of would not survive beyond physical death, then you will know that you need to make some adjustments and seek those things that add true value—eternal value—to your life.

The first and simplest task you should incorporate into your routine is the practice of stillness, which is nothing more than conversing with your Heavenly Father, offering Him your doubts, your desires, and your concerns, and then remaining silent for a few moments to receive the answers and inspiration you need. This is how the most important relationship anyone can have in their life is cultivated—the personal relationship with the Creator of all things and beings.”
