Thought Adjuster: “The noblest endeavor of a human being during mortal life is the building of their own soul. This endeavor is a joint action between man and God, between each human being and their Thought Adjuster—the presence of God in every mortal. This task must be the priority in a human life, for if one is to live a truly successful life, one must first know the purpose of that life—to create an immortal soul.
It is in the soul where the mortal can achieve transcendence. Everything that is mortal is destined to vanish with physical death. Only that which is of a spiritual nature exists beyond this life. Those who live superficially, simply reacting to the material without discernment, become unreal, for after their mortal life nothing remains for the next level of their existence, and they are forced to start over from scratch.
Now that you know what you are living for, it makes sense to ask: how is an immortal soul created? The soul is a transcendent entity that forms to the extent that human beings allow themselves to be touched by spiritual influences. At every moment of your life, your Adjuster is working to make you more spiritual, offering you guidance and suggestions to become ever better and to pass from being a person subject to life’s ups and downs to becoming the master of your own destiny. Life, for those who learn to listen within themselves to the voice of the Father, becomes a journey of gaining wisdom and harvesting the fruits of the spirit in mortal experience.
Those who dedicate themselves to the adventure of building their own soul begin to transcend material reality. They are no longer victims of this world’s circumstances and learn to use each crossroads as an opportunity to foster spiritual progress. What for others is an obstacle or even a tragedy becomes a test of faith and one more opportunity to search deep within for the courage and motivation to go forward. These are the mortals who manage to see beyond themselves and extend their kindness toward their fellows, for they understand that in truth we are all part of the same celestial family.
You are free to live your life as you wish, but you must not forget that you do not live only for this world. This life is simply the starting point of an eternal existence, and the better you prepare for what is to come, the easier your transition to eternity will be. But even if you do not suspect there may be something beyond this life, would it not make sense to live in such a way that you avoid much suffering while also gaining wisdom? This is the trap into which the materialistic man often falls. By ignoring or rejecting spiritual influence, he seeks to gain more freedom but ultimately becomes a slave to circumstances and his own animal nature. In contrast, those who cultivate true spirituality and are led by faith to find the Father and understand His purpose live fuller lives of satisfaction and peace, regardless of the environment that surrounds them.”
