Thought Adjuster: “Episodic defeats do not have to turn into terminal losses. When correctly processed, they become potent catalysts that propel you forward from an unforeseen backstep and bring you ever closer to the happy unfolding of your divinely conceived destiny.
How else could you become aware of what needs remediation or improvement in your inner world if it remained unruffled—yet in disharmony with God’s way?
Defeats bruise your delusional and unruly ego. Humble souls interpret them as road signs pointing in the right direction. If you harbor a victor’s mentality, they will drive you forward instead of intimidating you, remotivating you to beat the odds.
Many successful individuals ate their share of humble pie. Yet, passion-driven, they kept pursuing their dreams. How much sweeter was the taste of their hard-earned victory!
It all boils down to your attitude. You are the one deciding whether you will let setbacks depreciate the overall quality of your life—thus declaring emotional bankruptcy—or if their stings will act as booster shots.
Rather than victimizing an innocent God with your misguided anger, unmask the real culprits. Were your objectives legitimate? Did you lend a deaf ear to the warnings of reason, acting foolishly? Both defeats and victories are subject to the immutable law of cause and effect.
Go back to the drawing board. Instead of flying solo, enlist the wise assistance of your inner Guidance. Skillfully turn your misses into hits by expressing gratitude for the very situations that act as agents of positive change in your life and as generous dispensers of practical wisdom.”

The Beloved: “I am the satisfaction of your soul. It is I you hunger for.
Come to Me in the silence, and you shall be filled full.
I am your heart’s desire. I am your comfort, the rod you lean upon. In time you shall get to know Me better.
Persevere, oh persevere, in your seeking within the silent chamber of your heart, where I reside. Feel My life-energy coursing through every atom and molecule in your mind, body and soul.
There is nowhere that I am not. Seek Me and you will find Me. I am waiting, for I have never been away from you.
Open self to the unexpected. Be totally aware, and at the same time remain with Me in the silence.
Together we shall be the harmony and balance of life – together as one.

Thought Adjuster: “Imagine being a person that is the purest, the sincerest, the bravest, and the most dedicated to living the will of the Father. Imagine living a life like the life of Jesus, with His attitude of facing the challenges of life, with the love He expressed toward His peers, and with the peace that filled every instant of His exemplary life. Imagine the joy and the satisfaction of knowing that you are a citizen of the universe, one more agent for the Father in creation, working and playing your part in the task to make the plan of the Father a reality in all the corners of all the universes. Imagine that the Father is always with you, beside you, guiding you step by step in every decision. Wouldn’t this life you imagine be something beautiful, something worthy of being experienced? Imagine all this is true.
It is in your mind, in your imagination, where your creative power can be expressed with utmost intensity. The things you wish to experience in your life and the deepest desires of your soul, that have been inspired by the presence of God within you, can be realized as long as you believe this is possible. When you imagine what is true and beautiful you open the doors for this to manifest in your life. How can you be better if you don’t really know how to be better, what it entails? How can you change if you don’t know what you want to change? It is through your imagination that you can build the life you wish to live and when this imagination is elevated to spirit and is aligned with the divine will – with love – inevitably what is imagined will occur, sooner or later.
Another word to describe this use of your imagination is ‘faith’. Once you make a decision in your mind to believe that something is possible you have, in effect, given the first step to achieve it. Often what prevents mortals from attempting to express perfection in their lives is the simple fact that they don’t believe this is possible. They believe that their defects are too great to be overcome, that they are ‘only human’, that ‘nobody is perfect’. However, you have the example of the life of the Master, over two thousand years ago, as the material demonstration of divinity in the flesh. The life of Jesus is the most eloquent argument to demonstrate that, even during a mortal life, it is possible to have complete consecration to the will of the Father and to reach for perfection.
It is through faith – the creative imagination of a human being illuminated by spirit – that the limitations of material life can be overcome and mortals can extend their hands and truly reach for eternity, even while they live in this world. There is no defect too great that cannot be overcome. There is no sin too evil that the Father cannot forgive, even before it is committed. The doors of mercy are never shut and while there is even a spark of the desire to be better in your heart the Father will fight for you, providing you with everything you need to finally reach spiritual maturity.”

The Scribe: “The color you perceived upon ‘drawing up the light’ in your opening ritual today does indeed have no name. It is of both magenta and indigo, shining with the deep intensity of each, inextricable, yet not blended to create a new color such as you would find with pigments. There are many such combinations of colors which intertwine to create new, un-nameable shades within the paradise realms. Analogous to chords within your musical notations, two resonances, which when played together form the combination of each, yet also trigger higher harmonics which form that sound into a deeply resonant whole which reverberates as much more than the sum of the parts.
“Is it a surprise that light may work similarly? When you know that it, too, is formed as wavelengths from particular perspectives, (aside; ‘did you like that?’…see Receiver’s Note)
“It is the lack of clarity of light that arrests these light chords from being perceived physically upon your plane, the denseness of which, and the linearity of time, forcing them back into constituent parts, as when you listen to a musical chord over time, when first the highest note, then the next, until the lowest, sound clearly as individual tones.
“When you align your soul with your Divine part, then truly heavenly sound and light may be perceived by your soul, by your non-physical senses, and that may bring you just a hint of the glory of Divine Manifestation, and the delights that await you upon your ‘heavenly career’.
“Let these chords run up and down your spine, cleansing your entire system and setting alight the sparkling crystal within each cell, each organ, each chakra, each channel and each layer of mind/form/body.
“And let the emotions that arise be felt fully and washed away, without attempting to explain in reasoned terms how such joy and grief can co-exist, but accept that they do, in the same manner there can be a color without name in your world.

Thought Adjuster: “See now how such emotions subside to leave a peaceful and energy-filled bliss, so contrasted with the tired, hopeless lethargy with which you came to speak with us this night. And whilst we have discussed with you profound teachings on the inter-relatedness of all phenomenon, The Scribe and I, this is the true teaching – the peace that can be found when you allow yourself to reside within the hand of your Guiding Light, your Divine Being.
“Sit now some more, and drink your fill, and I drink with you in gladness of your willingness to cement our bond more closely, and delight in the unfolding of your understanding in each and every day.
“I have waited long for you to make a regular commitment to spend time communing with Me, and I am glad you recognized the call today as ‘time to spend time’. Now hush your excitement, and be, with Me.”
Receiver’s Note: This is an example of celestial humor. Within modern Physics, light is understood as both a wave and a particle. The Scribe is therefore making a gentle pun with this sentence, and seemed quite delighted by it Himself.

Subject: “To Each Their Own”

Thought Adjuster: “Accomplished teachers thoroughly evaluate their students' proficiency level to devise curriculums that will challenge them without overwhelming them.
They also strive to expand the understanding of those who lag in bringing them up to par with their more gifted and talented classmates without hampering their progress. Such was Jesus’ judicious approach while imparting the ‘good news.’ His outdoor classrooms attracted all types of people—from ordinary folks whose sincerity was the greatest asset to individuals with sharper critical thinking. It was a stroke of genius on Jesus’ part to teach with nutrient-rich parables from which everyone could extract spiritual lessons.
Another one of his favorite teaching modalities consisted of holding Q&A sessions with his inner circle. His disciples’ frivolous or sensible inquiries divulged their most urgent needs for enlightenment. An earnest question was a good primer for an in-depth examination of the raised topic—always with the underlying intention to promote his audience's spiritual acuity.
His objective was to groom his twelve apostles to appoint them as his teaching assistants, hoping that they would take up his teaching baton after he departed from this world. Their ordainment “was the Master’s personal commission to those who were to go on preaching the gospel and aspiring to represent him in the world of men even as he was so eloquently and perfectly representative of his Father.” [UB 140:4.1] It was their official send-off as itinerant teachers.
The Alpheus twins were the least educated among the twelve. These simple-minded but big-hearted fishermen “understood very little about the philosophical discussions or the theological debates of their fellow apostles...” [UB 139:10.2] Because they lacked the skills to be 'fishermen of men,' Jesus sent them back to their fishing nets without crushing their spirit. He lovingly told them: “Do not allow the things which you cannot understand to crush you.” [UB 174:0.2] “[Go]back to your former labors with the new enlightenment of the experience of sonship with God and with the exalted realization that, to him who is God-knowing, there is no such thing as common labor or secular toil.” [UB 181:2.19]
It is not a competition, but a collaboration. You each have a particular calling based on the components of your unique personality. You will know that you have found it by the joyful and gratifying sense of accomplishment it brings into your life.”
