Thought Adjuster: How often human beings entertain false needs with the hope of making their lives better and the illusion of greater happiness! You often forget that you already possess the things that are truly important and worthwhile in your life and that you don’t need anything external to get them. What brings real happiness and peace to human life can be summarized into two things. The first one is your desire to find God and be a better person. The second one is your relationships with your peers. Note that these things do not depend on anything external to be obtained or improved, but the responsibility for success or failure is completely in your hands, in your individual decisions and actions.
Your desire to find God, know the truth about your origin and your destiny, and strive to live accordingly to the will of the Father must come first. Every progress you make in this area will bring you peace that cannot be altered by the appearances of the external world. Through your soul desire to be closer to your Creator you will rise above your animal-material limitations and will become transcendental beings, not tied to this world but functioning with your sight firmly established in eternity as spirits living a life in a material world. This is the first step in the adventure to move toward increasingly higher worlds, that will eventually bring you to the presence of God.
Through your efforts to become beings of light the unconditional love of the Father finds an expression in your lives, spontaneously arising in your heart toward your peers. This is how you will build deeper relationships with others, filled with affection and eternal value. Just like your spiritual advancements have eternal value, the relationships you establish upon the basis of fraternal/paternal love with your siblings will continue growing and deepening beyond this world. The important things in life always have eternal value, and you will take them with you for the rest of your eternal life.
Do not be like the child who built a beautiful sand castle close to the shore and lost it when the tides rose. Start building the foundations of your eternal life and strive to obtain the things that will not perish with your material body, when your soul embarks in the first journey of many towards the presence of the Father. Concentrate most of your effort into achieving things that will bring real value to your life and also real and lasting happiness and satisfaction, so that when you are at the end of the road you are able to look back without regrets and say “I lived my life with intensity and all the treasures I gathered I will take with me into the next life.”
