Thought Adjuster: “When human beings lose sight of the purpose of their lives, that is when mistakes occur. When some among you ‘remember’ why you have come into the world, this usually represents a significant change in your way of living. Your way of seeing reality changes in a fundamental manner, affecting your interests, your desires, your longings, and your hopes. This, in turn, influences the decisions and actions you take.
Imagine that someone were to descend from heaven today and stand before you, to tell you that there is a life beyond this world and that you must begin preparing for the next level of your existence. Imagine that this person tells you that this world is in fact a school which, although it has no formal lessons, is designed in such a way that it offers abundant opportunities to foster your spiritual growth, if you so choose. Imagine that you now possess this advanced knowledge and must decide what you will do from now on. So, how would you live starting today?
That imaginary event is what has occurred for you today, now that I address my words to you through your mortal mind. This happens daily for all human beings who seek answers, for anyone who seeks to know about their purpose and about their Father in heaven is always answered abundantly and is offered everything necessary to satisfy their spiritual impulses. You may not see an angel standing before you with wings spread wide, speaking to you with a thunderous voice, but you can be sure that the angels, your celestial teachers, the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit, and above all the presence of God within you, are here, speaking directly to your soul and trying to illuminate your path.
As you read these words, feel how your soul is stirred. Look within yourself for validation of the reality of this idea, and understand that you already know enough to justify directing your life in such a way that you grow more in spirit. A more spiritual life is filled with eternal benefits, but it also provides real happiness and satisfaction during material life. We need not remind you that a life devoted to selfishness, hatred, and fear is highly harmful and devoid of happiness. Your choice regarding the way you wish to live should be clear.
There is no need to wait for additional proof or material confirmation to understand what is the best way to live your life and how you can use your creative powers to find an original path to become better each day. The goal is perfection—to become ever more like the most beautiful and truest image of God that you hold. This image will evolve and become ever more beautiful as you also evolve spiritually and manifest with increasing faithfulness the divinity of the Father. You already know enough to understand where you should focus your efforts and which desires are worth fulfilling in this life, for in doing so you will attain true happiness—one that does not depend on external circumstances, but on inner achievements and on the spiritual fruits you harvest from your experience.”
