Subject: “The Story of a Silver Spoon.”

Bzutu: “Silver was often and for many years called the devil’s metal. There were many reasons why it was called by such a name and mainly by the aristocracy. Silver cutlery was frequently ‘disappeared’ from the well-to-do upper crusts into the pockets of their often rag-tag servants and other swift-fingered ones. There were other reasons for silver to have been given such an undeserved name, but I don’t want to linger with any of those stories. I will sing silver’s praises for the medicine and real money that it is.
“Today, many bandages for open wounds contain nano particles of silver that kill the majority of germs, virusses and some nasty funguses as well. Long ago, a ship’s wooden water keg would have a silver coin thrown in, so the water would not spoil. Much food and drink was served in vessels made of silver. Silver was important because acid in food would dissolve the tiniest of silver particles and these, in turn, would keep diseases at bay.
“For those who could afford their baby’s silver spoon (or drinking cup), the slow release of silver particles gave these babies an advantage over those who could not afford such utensils. It’s doubtful if more than a few people understood what the nano particles actually achieved, if indeed they could imagine a nano particle.
“For most people, as if by magic, silver spoons and cups did the job of keeping junior healthy. It became a saying, a proverb: ‘born with a silver spoon in his mouth.’ From an ever-so-important near-guarantee of health it surprisingly became a guarantee of wealth and the antibiotic properties of silver were almost forgotten — lost if at all understood — to be replaced by the ever-more-often failing medicinal antibiotics.
“In our (Midwayer) opinion silver should perhaps be redesignated to become the angels’ metal and in times to come, we can envisage nano particles of silver being ‘brewed’ in many a home as an antibiotic or even as an illness preventative.
“The only thing that you can count on to always, always be the same on an evolutionary world is the constant presence of change itself. You will see some important changes come about, lasting for the next five years or so. Have some of the purest silver pieces about the place to be able to both heal . . . and deal.
“This is ABC-22. I bid you both au revoir.”

Thought Adjuster: “You choose which path to take in life. You make that decision every moment and every second of your life. You decide how to act, what to think, what to say or not to say and how to feel. It is My Gift to each one of you: free will.
“However, many have used their free will to harm and, consequently, there are many human beings who have been deprived of their freedom and their power of choice. Still, together with free will, I have given you something that nobody can take away, even in the worst earthly circumstances: the decision to think freely. Each one of you can decide to have faith or to not have faith, to be at peace or at war, to be happy or unhappy. There lies the true self-mastery of human beings — of these spiritual beings living earthly experiences.
“The true self-mastery of a human being consists of their choosing his or her own thoughts and his or her inner state, regardless of the seemingly difficult external situation that he or she may be living or going through.
“At that transcendental moment, the earthly evolutionary being recognizes his divine essence and is strengthened, rising above all possible adversities experienced on earth.
“I AM always there with you, when you decide to turn inward and reconnect with your Divine Guide. Nothing and no one can take this away, because it is beyond the reach of any earthly being.
“You are the ones who decide.”

Thought Adjuster: “Are you doing what you are supposed to do? This question has spiritual relevance. When you align your will with the will of your Father, you will find that all the necessary resources to accomplish the work you set out to do seem to appear out of nowhere. This alignment leads you to discover part of the potentials hidden in your being. Also you notice that you are able to accomplish your tasks with apparent ease.
“Once you have made the decision to do some work for the glory of your Father and the greater good for all, you will come to realize that many spiritual agencies have already been involved in your preparation and in the task of putting you in the right place at the right time. The service that you have freely chosen to perform is a suggestion from the Divine Presence within you, previously approved by your decision to live the will of your Father.
“The desire to ‘live God’s will’ is the source of that combination of material and super-material resources that contribute to the creative expression of that will through your personality. Yes, this is how your Father works in the world through His willing children. This is also how the enlightened children of the Creator contribute to the creation of a higher reality, increasingly closer to the design of the Father for His universes. These individual contributions reflect unity of purpose in creation — the divine will in action — which is the force that promotes the achievement of light and life in all universes.
“This is a magnificent work in which all who desire to do so can participate. This is gaining awareness of your universal citizenship — to know that the things you do individually contribute to the well-being of all creation, because it is a part of the Father’s plan. There are no small efforts of insignificant actions when the motivation is to do what the Father would like you to do. None of the things that God does are insignificant or irrelevant and the Father loves us so much that he allows us to be the ones who execute His works.
“Carry on with the tasks that you have felt inspired to fullfil and with the express intention of being an agent of the Father to those you serve. In other words, fill your decisions and actions with love and thus offer them to the world. This is how you become increasingly more like God and come to know Him better, for to know God is to know the secrets of the universes, the greatest adventure available to all.”

“Men all too often forget that God is the greatest experience in human existence.” [Urantia Papers 1289-02].
Thought Adjuster: “On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your relationship with God? When put under this perspective, isn’t it an interesting fact of life to ponder?
“Knowing that God is the First Source and Center of All That Is and that without His Omnipresence nothing and no one could exist, how present is He in your life? How tight is your connection? How much do you value His input for your life decisions? How much love do you truly feel in your heart toward Him?
“Many of the earthly children are so immersed in their material life that they very seldom come in touch with their spiritual nature and have very few conscious experiences with the Divine. How much do you truly know someone if you only rely on gossip and hearsay? Stop and think for an instant: What if you were misinformed? What if there was a much greater reality for you to discover once you walk through the threshold of your heart?
“All humans have equal access to that expanded reality. The Father loves all without any favoritism. Yet, all do not love Him back equally. This is the reason why there are so many philosophical discussions as to the reality of His existence. You cannot truly 'know' what you do not experience as it remains in the intellectual realm and is not validated by your senses — neither physical nor spiritual.
“If you only faintly experience the Divine Presence in your life, don’t you think you should turn your vision in a different direction? What about your inner vision? Your Master Jesus promised a bountiful harvest of the fruits of Spirit to those who invest themselves as workers of the Kingdom. It does take commitment and perseverance but you can take His word for it as His Spirit of Truth never lies.
“You are unique in your being; this implies that your relationship with the Divine is also unique. You can be inspired by the testimonies of others but you cannot taste the Divine through them. It does not work that way. You have to initiate your own relationship and do what it takes to establish such a wonderful heart connection. All it takes is to state your willingness to open your end of the communication line and to purge it from worldly static. You will never know how this powerful connection may feel if you never put it to the test. Be pro-active in your life quest. Those who succeed in any endeavor are those who invest themselves heart, body and soul.”

Machiventa: “Finally you hear from your planetary manager, whose words of wisdom you have enjoyed in various transmissions and you hoped that someday you might hear from him. You are in awe about his simple no nonsense words of wisdom, which resonated deep in your heart and you reacted to even print some messages, just in case they might not be accessible at some future date.
“We fervently hope that this dark possibility will not materialize, but even so, many, many prayers for peace need to rise before the throne of the Almighty God, because of the possibilities of pending catastrophes which have been centuries in the making and the warnings of which have sounded all along.
“There are many throughout the masses who have not yet attained a personal relationship with their Creator, but who like sheep follow others. A personal equilibrium in spiritual matters — like a growing faith and trust in God — is called for and this would exponentially help progress on our beloved Urantia. Instead, people are spiritually quite lazy and neglectful and they use their precious minds for mundane matters and wasting time with their electronic toys. Movies with uplifting messages or songs filled with hope have a hard time getting into the main thought-stream of the masses.
“Presently not only your food is being denatured but also the thoughts which need to feed the soul and encourage personal self-discipline that leads to self-mastery. It seems that the humans on this planet are having a difficult time maturing into spiritual adulthood, therefore the planet languishes, lacking in spiritual progress and unfortunately it has done so for hundreds of years.
“From our celestial viewpoint, this is worrisome, indeed, as so few humans are actively involved in growing their souls through loving service towards each other.
“For true spiritual progress to happen it is mandatory that each thinking human take responsibility for their personal soul-growth. All of you have the Gift of a heavenly Guide within you. Why not take advantage of the advice of your on-board heavenly Partners? They have been given to guide and uplift the minds of humankind. Truly, what is stopping you? You all have this precious opportunity to avail yourselves of the best and most direct route to God.
“The Creator is always accessible to each and everyone who is willing to work on his or her personal soul progress to achieve therewith a wonderful personal equilibrium. This equilibrium aids their successful, happy and worthwhile life, rather than it being lived only at the mercy of material things and circumstances.
“Think about the difference this choice brings; to living a God-centered life through the seeking and doing of His Will; and what this means for eternity. Instead, you will in your advancing years be bemoaning an earth-life filled with regrets, just because you neglected to build a solid equilibrium for your eternal soul. It is here on earth, that you are given the chance to make the greatest progress.
“The more you live selflessly and think about others’ well-being and produce spiritual fruits, whilst practicing being in a state of loving and forgiving, the more pleasant the surrounding atmosphere will be. This will benefit not only your immediate surroundings but it will also affect the circuits of the planet and the more beneficial and progressive everything will become in all areas of life.”
