Thought Adjuster: “While you live in this world you have the need to serve two masters; materialism and your spiritual inclinations. You must give each their due, but the key is to decide when you have given enough to each. An excess of materialism, without a doubt, will be an obstacle for your spiritual growth. An excess of spirituality can turn into fanaticism and make you lose sight of what is practical. You are a dual creature, material and spiritual, and you must learn how to function effectively at both these levels.
“However, for a mortal creature, the material and the spiritual do not need to be extreme opposites. It is possible to live a life of great spiritual achievements and material satisfactions. Observe the life of the Master, who always knew how to work using the best of His talents without becoming a slave to his material needs. He lived in poverty and never during his material life did he search for an easy way out or attempt to escape His responsibilities.
“Jesus is the perfect illustration of how a human being can live in this world while preparing for the next. Jesus triumphed in life not because of the level of material success he gained, because in reality he only managed to raise His family and provide for His mother and His siblings, preparing them to fend for themselves and overcome their problems. The greath triumph of Jesus was never losing sight of the purpose of His life – the reason why He came to this world – and His always pursuing that mission in everything He did.
“In your case, why have you come to this world? To live a life learning to know your Father and establishing a relationship with Him, preparing yourself as best you can for the next phase of your existence. Does this imply that you should live in poverty, or in wealth? No, but it does imply that you should learn to find peace and happiness – the joy of being – regardless of the situation in which you find yourself.
“In a world as confused as is Urantia it is normal to experience highs and lows. The societies of today may crumble tomorrow and order and sanity sometimes hang by a thread. However, it is within your being where the source of true peace can be found and where the storms of the world can be weathered. This is not an escape for timid souls that are incapable of facing the challenges of life. It is instead the spring at which those who courageously fight the battle of faith can drink and rest. It is the effort to see beyond the appearances of this world with the help of the Creator and Provider Who in eternity is manifesting His plan of love and truth over His creation.”

The Beloved: “To be able to receive an impulse and impression of My teachings and leading, there is only one answer: it is to become more diligent and steadfast in your coming to Me in the Stillness of your heart where you will always find Me waiting.
Your sense of urgency to rise above the clamor of the world will grow because your attention will be more strongly directed at the inner world where true soul-peace and harmony are to be found, and which no worldly medicine can provide.
All this training is meant for you to grow and to rise above the mundane-ness of the world. Your inner world is where the true transformation takes place. This transformation is always reflected into the outer world with a greater peace and harmony in your personal being.
It is a character correction, with which the higher you overcome the lower you and its baser creature instincts. This takes self-discipline and a greater altruistic love toward all, as God is love and has never been anything else, despite what the olden records say about an angry and jealous God.
These are thoughts from misguided and fear-ridden humans, long accepted as gospel. Many of your religious records are true, beautiful and good, but much, very much, is not true and merely thoughts of men who had numerous tribal deities and gods during your evolutionary past. These erroneous beliefs were recorded as facts.
God has never been on either one side or the other, in any war, famine, or pestilence. These are the puerile thought machinations of man trying to make sense out of life. Now the time has come for enlightened minds to accept the obvious truth that God is Love.
God was, is, and always will be Love. It is written: “I, God, change not” This is the truth forever into eternity.
Grow to be perfect like God, for this is the unchangeable goal of the ages. This is the reason why I am indwelling you as an individual Reflection of the Creator, to help us attain the goal of becoming one.”

Subject: “A Much-Needed Clarification.”
Message received by Anyas.
Thought Adjuster: “The life force that courses through creation is a divine gift — all-animating. One can retrace its origin to the First Source and Center located in Paradise. Like pure water rushing from an inexhaustible spring, it hydrates everything on its passage. Mindboggling happenstances, such as the bestowals of life and personality, are legitimate Acts of God — non-replicable by man or any other living creature.
In your universe, the phenomenon of procreation occurs within the various kingdoms that saw the light of day through the Life Carriers' dedicated landscaping and populating efforts.
“[W]e have on record the creation of one hundred million Life Carriers [. . .] graded into three grand divisions: The first division is the senior Life Carriers, the second, assistants, and the third, custodians. The primary division is subdivided into twelve groups of specialists in the various forms of life manifestation.” [UB, 36:1.2-3]
As depicted by their title of ‘Carrier,’ this order of created being transplants life forms from other realms to planets exhibiting a favorable environment. “In the later evolution of mortal creatures, the Life Carrier Sons provide the physical body, fabricated out of the existing organized material of the realm, while the Universe Spirit contributes the “breath of life.” [UB, 34:2.5]
Not only did Jesus, a Divine Son incarnated on Planet Earth, acknowledge that all life — his included — is a bequest from the Almighty, but he also revered it as such, with a heart brimming with gratitude. He grasped that all divine endowments have a practical application for collective welfare.
He flawlessly role-modeled what it is to be a living gift — an everlasting blessing to past, present, and future generations. His life was an impactful disclosure of the intrinsic power of love in action and interaction.
His death on the cross was not a parting gift since he keeps giving of himself post-mortem — as you will in your perfected state. All his breaths and heartbeats were part of an unbroken chain of custody of love that started when he volunteered to incarnate among you — thus authoring a loving preface to the book of his human life. He never ceased to operate in an exhaustive gifting mode: intentionally, thoughtfully, compassionately, and pro-actively.
The words that closed the final chapter of his terrestrial sojourn were, “Father, into your hands, I commit my spirit!” It is how he consecrated his last breath to serve as a vehicle toward his next glorious operational platform. He rendered to God what belonged to God — the purest and most precious substance kept out of the sacrilegious reach of his tormentors and executioners. Up to the end of his glorious career in the flesh, he strove to add more souls to the homecoming offering he humbly laid on the divine altar.”

Monjoronson: “There are certain individuals among you who have achieved a level of attunement with their Thought Adjusters — more fittingly — their Thought Controllers, and are nearly ready to step into ‘the work of correction’ at a most auspicious time of converging events. These events are not something you will witness on your TV screens or hear about in your media, but nonetheless, they are important in the plans of the Correcting Time and have a more energetic significance for the progress of the Planetary Supreme. My message to you today is subtly coded to ‘stir things’ deep within you — to prepare those who would hear the call to serve as they have been prepared by their Destiny Guardians.
“This ‘work’ that is to be done is a group effort, but requires a deeper level of individual commitment between you and your Indwelling Father Fragment. I bring you this message to encourage you to take more seriously your participation in the Great Plan that includes this work of correction on your world. For many of you have it in your minds a certain ‘story’ or expectation about how you would become a part of a coordinated effort by humans and celestials — it has a ‘flavor’ not unlike a fairytale in your minds, and many of you doubt that you could actually take part in anything that would approach ‘superhuman’ abilities.
“I use the term ‘superhuman’ not in reference to any gifts that would defy natural law, but abilities that have remained untapped in the human mind with respect to human cooperation with Spirit resources. Your Indwelling Father Fragment is the key to this deeper understanding and your ‘awakening’ to these deeper levels is mostly dependent on your willingness to go into your room and begin a dialog with your Thought Adjuster. When you are ready to seriously consider such service, you may have subtle energetic confirmation from within that something has awakened that was not there before.
“The needed correction of your world requires more humans to be intimately connected and attuned to their Thought Adjusters — and to ‘recruit’ these humans, requires willing participation at some level of waking consciousness. Many of you already have consented subconsciously, but the next step is to ‘move your feet,’ and this requires that you make a commitment to a deeper relationship with your Indwelling Spirit. Some of you shall ‘step-up’ and take hold of this opportunity and others will remain in the fairytale — it is entirely up to you — your faith, and your determination to serve.
“One of the significant differences between a world such as yours and a world settled in Light and Life is that the inhabitants on the enlightened spheres make the attunement process a life-long pursuit and a personal priority. They know and understand what a difference this makes in their own happiness and for the greater good of their society and planet — to actually co-create with the Indwelling Spirit — to be the expression of deity throughout their life and to bring a uniqueness of individuality to that expression.
“This is a personal quest and does not require certification by any human source or group — it is a ‘contract’ between you and Spirit. Your first step in service is to consummate your intimacy with the Indwelling Spirit.

The Scribe: “At some time in his lengthy career, the Creator Son of a local universe must undergo his very last period of being tested in order to prove at the end of it all that he will totally understand the least of his subjects – the mortals. On your world he became Joshua ben Joseph, a mortal living amongst you. In every instance the Thought Adjuster accompanying the Creator Son is one of great experience. The entire human life, the mortal life options of the Creator Son, can be foreseen, and thus, harsh as they may occasionally be, success is guaranteed.
“For my part I indwelt many mortals all over the universes in turn, and even on your world I managed to guide both Machiventa Melchizedek, as well as your Creator Son. It needed a lot of experience on my part to do this successfully, and I became personalized … as a ‘thank you very much’, one might say … at the end of my career as a most superior Thought Adjuster. I am the Damascus Scribe, my dear human friends.
“This evening I wish to speak with you about windows of opportunity. I wish to speak with you about the opportunity that was there with the Mormons of old that could have led to a beginning of a Correcting Time. “The Teaching Mission era is another of those windows of opportunity. However, certain difficulties, geopolitical difficulties, have created a hold up, and it may well be understood by you that a difficult period may be in the making before once again the people of this world will unite and decide that there will be wars no more, decide that it matters not a bit what religion one follows, and decide that each mortal on the planet is equal to any other.
“Not by force, war, or intimidation, I tell you, but with love for all and sundry will the Correcting Time proceed and will you move towards that period of Light and Life that has been calling you, that has been luring you, that has been beckoning you, for you to move completely out of your barbarian times into a time of love and progress, an age of truth, beauty and goodness.
