Subject: “Once Stirred by Spirit, a Soul Becomes Self-Aware.”

“Jesus spoke directly to men’s souls. He was a teacher of man’s spirit, but through the mind. He lived with men.” [UB, 141:7.10]

Thought Adjuster: “This sentence conveys an important message about how to go about establishing authentic contact with men’s souls — as Jesus so successfully did. There is a world of difference between a preacher — a smooth talker — and a teacher — an inspirational figure who imparts commanding authority to his lessons by impeccably ‘actuating’ them on the construction site of reality.

Talented orators appeal to their audience through clever discourses. Yet, if they remain glued to their intellectual soapbox, failing to follow suit with the preconized actions, they remain apprentices in that field. History abounds in worse-case scenarios where iniquitous preachers were nothing but predatory emotional manipulators.

Jesus earned with flying colors his honorific title of Teacher of Men. His spoken words imparted rich soul-nutrients, and he remained ever ‘true’ to them when making decisions and taking corresponding actions. It is why their combined synergy was tremendously productive.

Jesus judiciously used receptive minds as gateways to the soul — never coercing, always leading. He was an intuitive psychologist, carefully selecting the teaching materials most susceptible to act as broad catalysts for collective spiritual activation. As a spiritual landscaper, he hydrated each soul according to its needs.

Overwatering succulent causes them to rot, while underwatering a tropical plant causes it to wither.

In your daily encounters with men, get to know them first if you desire to uplift them spiritually. Gaining insights into their inner world will provide you with a reliable navigational chart of how you can assist their spiritual evolution. Once stirred by Spirit, a soul becomes self-aware. It turns an experiential corner when it realizes how much it craves for the spiritual bread that sustains its eternal life.”
