Teacher Ophelius: “Today's message is about accepting and knowing the value of a tragedy or trial, and pulling from it the life lesson and spirit wisdom needed to build a weightier soul and a stronger character that will serve you and others in your life circles well when the winds of adversity again blow your way. A road without hills and bends can be a safe and predictable journey, yet will it become mundane and sometime lead the driver to fall asleep at the wheel. Stay alert by appreciating the land features and using your map and compass, for any truly good journey is one that leads to adventure, and adventure can only be experienced by taking the risks and accepting the challenges as they are placed in your path.
“Many of you are facing these ‘rough roads’ in your life at this very moment, and wondering why it is that these hard times are falling upon you, or someone you know, when you or they are of the kindest and most loving nature willing to help their fellows and serve their God with the greatest of intentions. Why do ‘bad things’ happen to good people?
“When these adversities show up in your life, they become lessons that will prepare you for greater guidance in the future, which will serve you well in this life or will be deferred to a time hereafter when the experience can be reflected upon and wisdom cultivated that will lead to a higher quality of decision making in your universe career as you seek perfection and advancement in the paradise ascent. Many times the lesson will not become apparent to you through self examination after the fact, for only in time will the pieces fall into place that will give clarity of purpose for the trials when they occurred.
“Accept with humility the trials in your life and have faith that all these obstacles are honing your life skills and helping you to attain self-mastery for greater adventures that can later move mountains and bring joy and accomplishment to your life's work with greater service to God and your fellows. It is not an easy thing to do, to accept defeat in the moment, but sometimes that is what is needed to move on to greater things ahead. Sometimes a traffic light is needed to maintain an orderly flow and keep you and others safe on the journey.
“Count it all joy my friends when you are tested this way and know that God has a plan for your life and that you are being guided to higher roads. Reflect on past experiences when life circumstances were seemingly hopeless, yet now had you not suffered those trials they would have left you in a much darker place. All these things have a purpose and a means to a new beginning that shall exceed your greatest expectations.

The Beloved: “There is no road so twisted that it will not ultimately lead to the Father. Never let the past hold you back from this glorious end destination.
The voices of this world would tell you otherwise, but the truth remains that all roads ultimately lead to the one central Origin of infinite creation.
Of course, the road becomes much straighter once you practice self-forgiveness of the wrongs done to others, in ignorance or on purpose, although the latter one is more difficult for you to forgive.
Since the Father always forgives everything, He desires for you to do the same, in order for you to learn this great lesson of giving your unconditional love, not only to others, but also to yourself.
Often you do not think of yourself as lovable, or that you are unworthy of His love.
However, dear one, you are God’s human offspring, who is learning this most difficult lesson of self-forgiveness and of self-love. As you forgive others, so does God forgive you, for this goes hand in hand.
If you refuse to forgive someone, likewise, the Creator of all simply waits until you are ready to do so.
This is a point for much pondering, as the need for forgiveness towards self and others in your earthly existence is unending. This leads to unconditional love and love is unending.
In order to become free and to master this, of course you need to realize that the answer lies within – with Me – as I am the Center of your being. So do come and allow Me to teach you.
And lead you into that better way of living.”

Thought Adjuster: “Toddlers bravely and jubilantly take their first independent steps to cross the distance separating them from the welcoming embrace of their parents. Once runaway adolescents become homesick, they humbly retrace their way home, where the porch light remained turned on ever since they departed.
The first breath of life taken by the human pilgrims of time and space upon their planetary activation originates from the paradise abode of the Life-Giver. Their last breath transports them across the veil in the open arms and hearts of beings of lights, including former acquaintances with whom they had established loving connections.
You exist in a friendly universe. Even though you sometimes feel as if you were stranded in an unfriendly environment, left to fend for yourself, such is not the case. You are, at all times, under diligent celestial supervision.
What is your take on life? Are you a runaway soul that foolishly asserts its independence from the sustaining cosmic organization? How is that working for you so far? You may already have grasped that it leads you nowhere because you are wandering with your back turned away from The One who breathes life into you without ever intruding on your free will prerogative. Yet, He hopes you will come to your senses and espouse the great vision He entertains for your soul’s eternal destiny.
Time is certainly of the essence. Your earthly curriculum serves as the pre-school of your embryonic soul. Will you proudly graduate to your next waystation, or will you have to attend some remedial classes to get back on track? It is up to you. However, keep in mind that nepotism does not occur in the vast multiverse. Every human creature has to work their way up from the very existential bottom.
Yes, each soul’s pilgrimage starts with a wobbly independent step toward the outstretched arms of your divine Progenitor, who holds a special place for you in His infinite heart.”

Thought Adjuster: “What happens on this world is entirely in your hands. There are many among you working to improve things, in your villages, in your communities, in your cities, in your nations, and internationally. Whether you are conscious or not of being guided by the love of the Father is irrelevant. Actions speak louder than words and those who work for the light and the love are closer to the Kingdom than those who defend the creeds and attempt to fossilize the truths learned by their ancestors.
The need for clear minds and individuals who dare to think independently has never been as important as it is at this moment in the history of humanity. The discoveries of science and the advances that humanity has made through time and effort, are giving you the power of becoming the architects of your world. This is the position to which humanity is destined and it is yours by birth right. However, this is a position of great responsibility and the quality of the individuals of your civilization is the only thing that will determine the outcome of what you can achieve with this new power you so recently have discovered.
May everyone understand this clearly: the responsibility for the well-being of this world rests over your shoulders. The leaders are not the ones who will raise or sink this world. A minority will not determine what will happen in the immediate or the distant future. The actions or the indolence of the masses will be the decisive factor to determine the course of events. In the end, all of you will share the blame, but will also share the credit for having built a better world, if this is what you decide to do.
Citizens of Urantia, let today be the day when you decide you no longer will be just an observer of the drama that takes place in your world. Those who desire peace shall become agents of peace. Those who desire love among human beings shall love their peers as a loving father loves his children. Those who promote the cause of spiritual progress shall progress first. How is it you can’t grasp that when you become better people individually your world and your civilization also improve? How can you not see that this is the only way?
Go and change the world. Yes, this is possible, but only if each one of you observe yourself with complete honesty and consecrate to a life of discipline, self-control, and the search for the perfection of being. All the great problems you now face can only be solved when met by human beings of a superior quality. Cultivate your minds, elevate your thinking, become expressions of divinity in the flesh. You are creators. Use your minds and create in them the image of the most perfect, beautiful, and goodness-filled creatures you can imagine, and then strive to be those creatures you imagine. Everything that exists now, all the comforts you enjoy in your civilization were, at some point, just an idea in somebody’s mind. Similarly, the human beings of the future that will bring this world to an age of light and life, may as well be the creation of the minds of the present, the offspring of your creative imagination.”

The Beloved: “It is an ongoing pleasure for Me to witness your thoughts, and to observe your inner growth and development.
There will come a time when great gladness shall surge through you once you begin to value more how you struggled to obtain the great price of unreservedly doing God’s will, without any further thought to your diminishing human will.
Do pause on occasion, and stop to consider how gratifying this must be for Me, your indwelling Light, that I am finally given more ‘breathing space’, as you are allowing Me greater expression through your thoughts and actions.
In times to come, you shall be totally gratified when you look back on this life, seeing that all the trials were exactly what you needed, for both our sakes to for you to be molded according God’s blueprint.
Sooner or later, each and every mortal learns that they, too, are a part of God. Gifted with their own divine and essential plan.
Remember that free will is given to each normal minded child, so they are able with their decisions and actions to co-create with the Infinite Creator, and fill in the blanks toward their own ultimate perfection, and this despite the many detours they may take by making their own decisions.
Truly, life is a most wonderful gift. Even though the material body passes away, the spirit-self carries on towards perfection at a higher level.
As your Master Jesus has foretold; “In the house of My Father are many mansions.” These are the different levels of spirit-development on the way to perfection.
Abide with Me in the Silence of your heart, while we journey together as inseparable companions en route to becoming one.”
