Thought Adjuster: “It is good to start each day by going within for your daily date with the Divine. Indeed, your God is at all times ready to speak to you in an intimate and very personal and safe setting. He dwells at the very core of your being, monitoring your thinking and eager to provide you with meaningful feedback whenever you are at a loss as to what to think, feel or do.

“Isn’t it a very comforting and self-empowering thought? The more you cultivate this match made in Heaven, the more you can maintain inner peace and make unrushed and wise decisions. Don’t you think it is a much better approach to life to start each day by attending your own Parent/Teacher conference? All it takes is to sit in the Stillness, state your intention and listen. This is the most life-transforming spiritual hygiene.

“In a sports team, the coach gives a pep talk to the team before each big game. Not only does he provide them with practical pointers, but his role is also to ensure that they are psychologically and emotionally on point. It is a fact that both teams will do their best to also destabilize their opponents psychologically as it can have a great impact on the outcome of the game.

“Many among you only have sporadic meetings with their Father-God — frequently taking place in a very public setting that is not conducive to personal confidence and to an honest and unrestrained baring of the soul. Such a God is a very official and intimidating God, perceived as aloof and out of human reach. The creatures view themselves as His unworthy subjects, too flawed to stand in His Presence and such public encounters fail to fulfill the longings of their heart. Why get a back seat in the Throne room while you could sit on your Father’s Lap in a private audience and have a free-flowing exchange, entertaining Him with your natural childlike demeanor and your spontaneous babbling?

“The choice is yours — forever. Why not take the first step and send out your heartfelt invitation? Aren’t you curious to discover the infinite potential of such a growing relationship? You’ve got a Friend.”

Teacher Ophelius: “The message for today is for all the people of the earth. Though you may feel divided and separated from other people by sex, race, culture, religion, politics, social class, or national identity, you are, none the less, the people of planet earth, and you have more in common than you do realize. As viewed from above — from the higher planes of the ascending worlds of time, which you shall one day experience for yourselves, your planet stands out as one that is most unusual, unique, dangerous, confused, beautiful, and the most interesting of all worlds in all the local universe — the one planet chosen to be host to the bestowal of the Creator Son. Only one inhabited planet in 10 million worlds can claim such distinction, and yet most of you go about your lives unaware of the potential you have to make a tremendous contribution to the growth of your souls and to the Great Plan to transform this confused world into the jewel of the universe.

“Each one of you is indwelled by a fragment of the Creator, which in and of itself, gives you a unique common bond that continually inspires and expresses the Will of this Creator to your minds, yet you only have to listen with the heart to hear it. If there is only one thing you may understand about life on your world, please understand this fact. When you choose to separate yourselves by the divisions of worldly identities you lose sight of your common heritage and you suffer from the self-inflicted wounds of hatred and bigotry because of your differences.

“The Creator Father is continually creating and exploring new ideas and expressing these ideas to His children (you) and He does this with the intention that within the diversity of life on each world, a truly unique idea may be expressed and a new experience will be born. You are the ‘experiencers’ and diversity is your strength, dear friends, not your enemy. Is it not greater to view a problem from many sides than to only see it from one viewpoint?

“Unity of purpose is strength, diversity of mind is creative. We observe, time and again, that when men and women are thrust into a situation of disaster, they soon forget about their worldly divisions and come together to help one another — to survive, to be free of suffering, and to rebuild their lives from the rubble of disaster. In that moment when you are standing in the rubble or the waters of disaster, you are equal. Brotherhood and love shines through the outer coverings and the true intention of the Creator begins to express itself having a clear path to the heart. This same spirit of brotherhood and love can be realized without the disasters of time to awaken the heart, and it can be realized when you focus your attention on the things you share in common. Do you not all desire to be loved? Do you not all desire to grow and find purpose in life? Do you not all love your children? Do you not all desire to live in peace and safety?

“The problem you still have is that you do not all desire equality. This is the plague of mankind — the idea that one must have not, so that the other can have. You are enslaved by the ‘monkey handcuff.’ A monkey will reach into a small hole to grab a banana, but cannot free his hand with the fruit in it and so he is bound to the device which prevents him from eating the fruit — he refuses to let go of the banana. His greed to have the fruit is greater than his need for freedom.

“Let go of the fruit, my friends, and use your diversity to free yourselves. First work together with the values that you hold in common — the differences can then be worked out for the greater good.

Subject: “Accept the Consequences of the Way You Think.”

The Beloved One: “At present you are pondering what this subject actually means, ‘to accept the consequences of the way you think.” Simply stated, what you think about you attract, because the way you habitually think greatly influences the way you live. The quality of thought usually decides the behavior of the person, depending on the state of awareness in which he or she lives. Even you, at times, are still not clear about why you act or react the way you do. Likewise is this the case with almost the entire population on this planet.

“It is therefore recommended that if one desires to be altruistic and charitable during one’s mortal life that ideally some thought would be given as to how this can be accomplished. It would be a life encompassing — a willingness to walk the path with the most love in it. In other words, to search wholeheartedly for the will and ways of God. It is therefore extremely important for anyone to embrace the higher way of thinking and not to entertain the self with low-level, unproductive thoughts. The higher way of thinking starts already on awakening each morning by being grateful for all blessings received.

“Do give some thought to the blessing of being able to get out of bed in the mornings without assistance, as this is usually taken for granted. Or if it had been another of those restless nights, think about what the mind was busy with. Ask yourself: ‘was my mind occupied with substantial thoughts related to problem solving or were my thoughts undisciplined, without substance and therefore a waste of time? In the latter case, this might be caused by a restless mind which could, prior going to your rest, greatly benefit from some quiet time with thanksgiving prayer and meditation to calm the heart and influence the mind. In turn this would greatly aid all the bodily systems as the turmoil and worries of the day are left behind.

“Of course, this habit may at first require some self-discipline in order for one to become proficient at stilling the mind. However, think about the beneficial results to be had when cultivating a habit such as this. Disturbing cares and worries would be left behind. There is no earthly medicine that can achieve what prayer and meditation can accomplish when earnestly engaged in. The soul would be spiritually nourished and as a result all the body-systems would feel the calming influence and contribute to an overall better state of health.

“What rich reward could be reaped over your lifetime when indulging in a practice of rising above the humdrum of life with, at times, its banal and loud entertainment. At best it is jarring to the nervous system with the danger of bringing the thought levels down to low-level, unproductive thinking, which in turn causes a restless sleep pattern.

“There is much to be said about the state of mind and one’s level of thoughts it is being kept busy with, as everyone is responsible for the consequences of their thoughts. Remember there will always be room for improvement and higher-level thinking.”

Thought Adjuster: “The universe I wish to show you is big beyond your imagination. I am preparing you so you can discover great and beautiful things during your journey back home. You are a dual creature, a combination of matter and spirit, and I have offered you the opportunity to grow beyond your current limits to achieve eternity and perfection. You carry within you the seed of the new being you can become — your immortal soul. As well, you possess the teacher and the vehicle that will transport you to the shores of Paradise — your Thought Adjuster (TA).

“As your soul awakens you start perceiving things from higher realms. At first, your soul is mostly unconscious, like a baby in her mother’s womb. Through your decisions and your desire for perfection — the love for the spiritual things — your soul becomes conscious, awakened and starts to actively participate in your life.

“Your soul and your personality are the total of what will survive beyond mortal death. Your TA will remain with you until the time of your eternal fusion with this Fragment of God. Once your identity has been reconstituted on the Mansion Worlds, those things you have placed in your soul — the experiences, the lessons learned, the acquired values — will still be available to you, and you will continue at precisely the same level of spiritual progress you achieved on this world.

“Many things from the material world will disappear at the moment of your transit to the morontia worlds. Some will be forgotten. But just like many events from your childhood and your past have vanished from your mortal mind without making your life any less satisfactory, a lot of what you have accumulated in your mortal mind will be forgotten. That which holds eternal value — the really important things — will never disappear. Your relationships with your brothers and sisters in this world — the love you have shared — never disappears and you will remember and will be remembered by those from this world that you will find in the next one.

“Many of your absurd concerns, fears and anxieties will also disappear. Some of these fears have been nourished so consistently during your mortal life that you may need a period of adjustment to adapt to the new way of living in the morontia worlds. Many of the customs of human life in this world are markedly opposed to the way of living in the higher worlds and those who have not managed to reach a satisfactory level of love and compassion for their siblings will have to take remedial courses to learn these ‘subjects’.

“Those among you who could overcome their doubts and discovered the light inside the darkness that surrounds this world will have a great advantage, because your faith and your trust in your relationship with your Father will have a stable foundation and will not quiver due to the intense changes from the life in a material world to a the morontia life. Those of you who have learned to know and truly love your peers will find that integrating into a higher society will not be such a great challenge after all, and it will represent that which your soul desired to find in this material world.

“The lessons you learn in this world are the experiences that open the doors to a greater and deeper knowledge of the will of our Father in the universes. Strive to become the best you can aspire to be in your mortal life so this short period in the flesh can be fruitful and can prepare you for the greater adventures of eternity.”
